Not all Humans Feel

Just as there are distinct differences between bonobos and chimpanzees, not all humans are alike. Unlike them, we mix, and we've been doing it a very long time. Consequently, it's not apparent what is what and who is whom. It's blurry because they coexist in families, barely.

As easy as this may be to read, integrating it will be challenging. It's hard to accept your mother doesn't feel, yet not all do. There's a lot of faking going on. The smarter the faker, the better they are at it. This has created much confusion for those who feel. Those who don't, are at home with horror, as long as it's not their own. No living creature naturally enjoys their own pain. If they seek it out, they are on the edge of not feeling and have not come to terms with it.

Knowing how to respond and being responsive are not the same. You can be convinced they are but they are not. Someone who is responsive, feels their way. Their internal mechanisms are triggered by emotions which feeds the process. It's autonomic, meaning no conscious effort is involved. In fact, much conscious effort is necessary to attempt not to feel. In this way, the non-feeling exhaust the feeling.

If you are a feeling person, this site is for you! If you are not, you will be triggered into your limited set of feedbacks, which include confusion and the anger and resentment that comes with it. Move along, this is not meant for you.

If you are still here, listen closely. Not all humans feel. But if you do, you are not alone!
